Life is about taking chances and last week I gave up my marketing job of 11 years to pursue my life change travelling around Northern Ireland to give men at nursing homes a 'mens day'.
I had noticed that women were getting their pamper days but the men were missing out, or having their hair cut by female hairstylists. I can give them the proper turkish barber experience.
I bring along a little jukebox and whilst I'm cutting the men's hair and giving them an old fashioned shave they sit and relax listening to music from days gone by.
Music really relaxes my clients and I have even seen some happy tears. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing happy customers leaving relaxed and clean cut.
