Staff at Hollyfields and Ivy House Care Homes in Kidderminster today received an assortment of flowers and chocolates from local businesses in Bewdley and Kidderminster to say "Thank you" for their dedication and hard work whilst caring for the most vulnerable during this time of uncertainty and current coronavirus pandemic. Gifts for the staff were donated by Bewdley Co-op and Tesco Express Stores on Load Street in Bewdley and Aldi Superstore on Stourport Road. Team Leader at Hollyfields and Ivy House Care Homes, Elissa Sly, said " It was so generous of these companies to show their appreciation to staff working in care during these tough times and we thank you for thinking of us." Staff are doing everything they can to lift the spirits of not only the residents at the homes but also each other too. They have been singing and dancing with residents, offering hand massages, nail painting and manicures as well as enabling residents to enjoying walks around the grounds to reduce isolation. Residents have also been receiving help from staff to speak to their loved ones via Skype.
