I ran a small competition in my Facebook Group Bright Copper Kettles CIC - Care Home Activities last week.
I received some wonderful photos which really helped to cheer me up.
1st Place
This is the winning photograph - Entitled Christine Sparkles - I really felt the title was app and I'm sure you'll agree that Christine does indeed sparkle.
Congratulations to Holmes Care Group who swept the board, winning 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
2nd Place
I loved this photo too;
Norma engaged in a Leaf Wreath Activity
Reviewing the Autumn activities with the use of photographs is really rewarding and a great way to support your evidence of residents engaged in, and enjoying, stimulating activities.
And during these particularly difficult times they are a lovely way to share your activities with families and friends who will really appreciate the opportunity to see what your care home family is getting up to each day.
3rd Place
What a fantastic photo Beer Pong shows the joy of taking part in an activity just for the fun of it.
Of course, there are other benefits; socialisation, gross motor skills, concentration and the exhilaration of competition to name but a few.
As you can see, it was a difficult choice, even having chosen my three favourites, to put them in order was super hard.
The homes with winning photographs will receive some great prizes:
1st PRIZE - 45 mins call with me - increasing activities during a pandemic
2ND PRIZE - 1 hour call with me - activity planning session for the season
3RD PRIZE - Fiddle Muff Sensory Hand Warmer from Memory Care Store
