Thank you to Nicola Taylor, Activities Coordinator at Wulfrun Rose nursing home who wrote this to share and acknowledge our wonderful nurses on this special day.
Given everything this year has thrown at our nurses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there isnโt a better or more appropriate time to focus on recognising, appreciating, and applauding our incredible nurses, not only at Wulfrun Rose, but across the globe.
Nurses are more deserving than ever of our support, respect and appreciation.
We have been looking at the past, present, and possible future of nursing, talking about medicine, history and getting our nurses to talk about their nursing experience and why they choose the nursing path.
We got our lovely residents involved with a bit of role play to making their own nurses uniforms. It was a lot of fun and an interesting topic that gave our residents lots to talk about with our nurses.
It was a great way to celebrate National Nurses Week, marking the contributions that nurses make to society.
We would like to say a special thank you to our ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐, Louise Ali and to our nurses....
