It’s time to get together, put the kettle on and line up your favourite music! Host a Musical Tea for Playlist for Life this April to raise awareness of personal music for dementia.
Playlist for Life is a music and dementia charity who promote the power of personal music and the profound benefits it can have for people living with dementia. This April, they’re encouraging supporters to share their own musical memories – a special song that takes you back to a person, place, or event – as part of their Musical Tea campaign.
A Musical Tea is a great way to connect with family, residents, and colleagues while helping to raise awareness of the power of personal music for those living with dementia. Whether hosting a Musical Tea virtually or in-person, it’s free to sign up! You’ll receive a resource pack with everything needed to plan an event, plus activity ideas and recipes to use on the day.
Personally meaningful music can be a lifeline for those living with dementia.
Musical Teas are a fun, free way to introduce personal music into your care plan and spark conversations that could evoke memories and improve wellbeing for your residents.
