Fenchurch House Care Home in Spalding Common was officially opened on Friday 9th October, with the ribbon cut by local MP Sir John Hayes.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the open day was not quite the usual grand celebration, instead, visitors enjoyed socially distanced individual tours and the opportunity to see the home and meet the Home Manager. Stringent measures were in place to ensure the visitors felt safe and welcome during their tours, PPE was provided, and the domestic team were on hand to clean all areas and touchpoints between each tour.

Fenchurch House is Country Court’s 33rd care home, and third care home to open in Spalding alongside Ashwood Nursing Home and St John’s Care Home which play an important role in the local community, both enjoying excellent reputations.

We are delighted to open Fenchurch House,” said Home Manager Suria Webb “This really is a beautiful home and I believe, the best yet for Country Court. Our first residents will be joining us this week and we can’t wait for them to enjoy their new home”.
