An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Find Memory Care, as a regional Dementia Specialist Ambassador.
Find are commited to continuously looking for innovative ways to enhance the built environment and improve the quality of life for care home residents and hospital patients, whilst also ensuring that teams within care settings are supported to enable them to deliver truly person-centred care.
Due to increasing demand, we require additional regional Dementia Specialist Ambassadors to work alongside the care homes and hospitals to enhance their environments to support those living with dementia and cognitive impairment.
This is a varied role, which will involve working directly with care homes and hospitals to create environments that will meet both the physical and emotional needs of service users. Our wealth of knowledge and experience will enable you to provide up-to-date information and advice, provide guidance and share best practice with clients on enhancing every environment, enabling everyone to live their best life.

About you
Your experience of working to support people living with dementia is essential. You will need an understanding of the changes that dementia can have both on a person’s abilities and their needs. Experience of finding strategies to best support people living with dementia would also be an advantage.
You will need strong communication, coaching and interpersonal skills and feel confident in supporting others, demonstrating how to put newfound knowledge and skills into practice.
This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours) position.
