The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
“We are delighted that six members of our hospitality team have been selected as regional finalist for the GB Care Awards,” said Anwar Kajee Head of Hospitality at Country Court. “Perceptions of catering in care homes are changing, we live in an ever-ageing population and people’s expectations are getting higher. Our Chef’s challenge is to keep residents excited about coming to the dining table for their meals, every single day. One of the challenges of providing great service and food is finding passionate staff who mirror our expectations of 5-star hotel-style service within the care sector and we are delighted that our Chefs have been recognised with these award nominations.
The winners of the Regional Great British Care Awards will be announced at awards ceremonies in April 2021.
